They must've finally had enough interest? Can't imagine them putting it out for the heck of it. If I get any requests for it, i'll probably get it, but have never had one request or any interest in it, so most likely won't be getting it.

Most people Ive talk to didnt care for it because John T & Oliva Newton John,,wasnt in it...although JT made the show...Grease 2 has good songs...a little bit more sexually in content though..If you get a chance to watch it do it.

It was on par with Caddyshack 2. Barely watchable.
However, it was the first starring role for Michelle Pfeiffer and the big screen debut of Chris McDonald AKA Shooter McGavin!
I hope Zoom fares better with Grease 2 than the box office did!

this come from someone who has no theatre training or acting experience and based this on a personal dislike.....sssoorryyyy....again the show wasnt popular due to the fact that John T & Oliva wasnt involved...that in it self killed it however if they would have been in it it would have been a big hit also...the acting was solid and the sing & choreography was done very well. They were thinking of doing a GREASE 3 but John T and Oliva turned it down..I guess they didnt want to come back as parents.....Most musical sequels never do well..this included Nunsense..HSM 2 & 3 and High School Musical 4 which is coming out sometime in 2011..well we well wait and see on that one

What the hell does theater training have to do with it in order to see what is good & what isn't - if theater trainging makes this show good, then i'm glad I have none? The show sucked! Bottom line! Newton-John & Travolta wouldn't have made it any better & most likely why they didn't do it - it sucked!

I don't claim to be a professional actor or trained vocalist, but I surely regret spending $5 back in the day to see Grease 2.

Wrong or not, I know what I like, I didn't find anything good about it - trained or not. Like others said, it was a waste of money.

Without trying to cast any aspersions on one group or another...... the gay community tends to like things that the masses just don't prefer; such as Broadway Show Tunes or Movie musicals. Now, there will always be exceptions, such as GREASE 1, that seem to appeal to everyone but for the most part, the Musical is a dying art form.....except for the musicals that appeal to kids and teens, like Hanna Montana and High School Musical.
I find it amazing that someone with degrees in theater and music, would have such a limited command of the English language.
Taste and talent are not based on education. Two people can go to the same school and take the same classes and one may be a great actor or singer and the other may be tone deaf and emotionless.
I'm pretty sure that Barbra Streisand, Cher, Liza Minelli, and Judy Garland all missed out on the college experience but no one would question their talent level or ability to know talent when they hear it or see it.
GREASE 2 was panned by just about everyone. Gemini is defending the movie for the sole purpose of getting some lousy songs to sing.......that mostly will be one of the worst selling discs that ZOOM will ever produce......but they won't make an all Springsteen disc for me ;c(
