Compuhost 1.80 issue?

Post subject:  Compuhost 1.80 issue?
Well, I downloaded the new version, and was initially very pleased with the new features.

I run win xp proff, a pent 4 2.80ghz pross, with 1 gig sdram, and 256mb Nvidia 8400 vid card.

Now, my computer has been recently wiped, and I turn off all bells and whistles on xp.

However, I was experience serious lyrics lag anytime i tasked the computer to do anything, including histories and song look ups.

I sent in a message to support, and they said they couldn't understand why it was lagging as the code was the same... however, I have since downgraded back to 1.76 and the issue went away. :? Hmmm.

Hmmm, no problems here.

Are you running in Standard Legacy Mode or Directx Enhanced Mode? You may try running 1.80 in Standard Legacy mode. You can switch modes in the System Devices and Options menu.

Koyote, I also downloaded the new 1.80 version of Compuhost this weekend. I loaded it on both of my laptops, one with xp, the other with Vista. I've been (playing) with it all weekend, and find no lagging issues. After reading your post, I played the fastest song I could find, and NO lagging. Wish I had more to offer, but who knows as things are so different from one computer to another. Hope someone can offer more. Good luck!!!
