Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone has used this mixer and what are some of the pros and cons of this mixer. Also it is rated at 500W @ 4 ohms per channel is this 500W "Continuous(RMS)" or "Program" or "Peak" ? Thanks in advance for all your inputs and suggestions. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. |

I like mine, though I prefer component units......you lose both a mixer and amp if it dies. It's easy to set up, and use....and it's been reliable....pretty much everything you need for karaoke or music in one unit. It's two seperate amps, so you can't run out mono, but if one amp fails, you could run mono off one amp in a pinch. A power amp with 500/4 x2 would give you twice as much power running mono. It all depends on what you plan to do with it. |

A major con is the lack of power amp insert jacks or any other I/O mechanism that would allow you to insert an outboard crossover or graphic equalizer before the amplifier. I know there are many folks on the forum who like this mixer, but I would never use one. |
