I love the blues! It is hard to find good blues songs for karaoke. What songs are you singing?

BB Kings “Thrill is Gone”, Stevie Ray Vaughn “Sky is Crying” Buddy Guys “Damn Right I got the Blues” James Taylors “Steamroller”. Just a few off the top of my head. I got a few others I dont want to divulge on an open forum. Kinda surprises, y know.

It’s funny, me and the wife share a lot of songs. She can growl and belt it out too. We are the local blues show here. I guess lots of folks in our area never hear these songs, Last week we got asked if we had an album out! It was great.

We owe a lot to our DJ though. So nice to have a DJ wants you to sound good. She pays attention and works the board through our song. I gotta tell ya, that makes a huge difference. We will drive across town to sing with her past 10 karaoke bars. She also gets us songs "on the fly". We make sure we always tip more than what that song would cost her cause we do not want to lose that luxury!! Can go on and on about the little "extras" we get that dont take half a second to do, but keep us loyally following her to gigs.

I joined hoping to see what everyone else was singing, but dont see where anyone is talking from a singers point of view. Seemed like last time I looked at this forum "what did you sing last night" was a big thing on here. Hope I can find it.
