Hi, I am new to karaoke and burning disks, this is what I did, I have a Craig cd graphics karaoke system, I downloaded some mp3g songs, saved them to my documents, my music, tried writting them to a cdr disk without unzipping them, on the player they did nothing, then I unzipped them, got 2 files, wrote both to cdr, on player the music plays but no lyrics, what do I need to do to get the lyrics? Can I get a converter and convert them, burn to disk?

There is a program from Power Karaoke called power CD+G Burner. It will do just about anything you want. It can copy a Karaoke disc, convert files into different file formats, make Karaoke discs that will play in any standard Karaoke machine and more. It's $39.

The files must be In a "bin" format.before you can burn a cdg. MP3toolz willl do that and it is free. Then u need sofctware that will burn the CDG disc. Nero will work with most any cd rom drive. CDRWIN is easier to use but will not work with every drive.

Actually, I believe Power CDG Burner that Stogie mentioned will burn right from zip...it handles the whole process and works with most cd drives. Download the demo and see if it works with your drive.
