Okay, I'm all joined up. Though gosh knows it's hard to keep up with all these various websites I keep joining. I'll try and make yours a priority though:) I didn't see a place to choose a "username", so I'm just there under my own name... ? That's ok, I'm prettyyyy sure I'll be the only "Charmin". Cool site Ollie. I haven't browsed much yet, but I will. |

I listened to your songs you put up... I was thinking they were by you, but they were only the originals. What's up with that? |

[/quote}] : Itried to tell you before I cant record me and be satisfied. The only way I can sing is with a big big crowd. I can do the right left hand better than George I wish they had a Dawn version of half as much. I dont imitate anybody but I sound most like Buddy Holly and Hank Snow. Enuff about me I wannt to hear you.. That Elise is a KJ in the Denver area She can sing good too. |

Ollie, can't you record yourself live at one of the shows? I'm not really set up to record right now- I, atleast for temporary, am living in an apartment. (and it sux, i absolutely hate apartments) But, fortunately, the apartment directly beneath me is empty, so I can record somewhat during the day. (without fear of ...*gasp*... being heard a capella with my headphones on) Lol I'm just on my laptop, and that sux too, I hate recording on it. Wow, I complain a lot, don't I? I'll get something posted there soon:) No promises on the turnout, but I'll do something. . |

I've had to re-do so many tracks because the mic picked up howls of laughter in the next room It's worst when I'm doing harmonies . . . |

I've always hated people hearing me while I have headphones on. (yeah, even the kids, though they'd never laugh- they know I'm too vain to handle that , they'd just roll their eyes behind my back if I sounded funny, Lol) SO many times I've gotten a song done and then while listening back to edit the vocal track, there'll be a passing garbage truck, or I hear I missed a phone call, or someone knocking on the door... I guess I keep the music too loud in my ears while singing. Nothing makes me madder than when I think "there, done" and then I hear something like that that can't be edited out. It wouldn't be a big deal to hear me yell at a neighbor, "Can you trim that tree TOMORROW? I'm recording over here!!" (no, not really) . |

The one I hated was the onelegged guy who would beat his vane on the wall.. This is the absolute truth.. The apt Im n nowb the only noise I hear is the ones above me. This is the quietest apt I haveever lived in tho.. No traffic noise or other urban noise. |

Where I live is actually pretty quiet too. Matter of fact, I'm probably the noisiest one, atleast on this side. (especially when the grandkids visit, they're rowdy little guys, Lol) It would totally pizz me off if someone beat on the wall at me.. I'm sure I'd probably grab something heavy and beat back. That would annoy me. I'm just super anxious to get the heck out of here and back out of town in a house, apartment living is NOT for me. Took me about a month to figure that out for certain... no back yard, no garage, no music room, shared parking, ugh. |
