Compuhost is made specifically for running a Karaoke show. Virtual DJ is not.

If I had access to both for a karaoke show I would use Compuhost.

The one thing I do love about Virtual DJ is the fade in/ out options.

I hope this helps.

Virtual DJ is ok if your just using one laptop as source of all music ie filler music, karaoke disco etc. PCDJ/VJ is even better than virtual dj. But for really busy karaoke nights best using a proper karaoke hosting programme i.e Sax n Dotties etc with a proper on screen queueing system

FYI, Compuhost also offers fadein/fadeout options. I have used the Fillertunes player in Compuhost to run full dance sets, complete with automated fading and blending, worked great.
