Hi Any1, i have just downloaded the KSLC 2010 and tried to copy the list to make it into a song book! But unfortunately you have to purchase the program to enable you to do so. Does any1 out there know if there is any other way around doing this, or where i can get the free program?

Thanks

Fast Tracks is a good program. I believe that the Basic version is $79.

The only way around it is to buy it, but it's well worth it!

if this is the first time you're making a song book, you probably don't have too many songs so typing them in by hand shouldn't take too much time. How many songs are we talking about?

Hi, i am probebly talking about approx 25,000 tracks. So yes it would take a long time to write that amount of songs. Also i never mentioned but i live in the UK so would i have to use software for the uk or is it universal?

Thanks

Pretty much universal. There is two versions of Fast Tracks but the difference between the two is basically the ability to read off of a hard drive the info that creates a songlist.

The easiest way is to send the filenames to a text file and then manipulate the names to the format you want to use.

If you are very familiar with text manipulations by formulas in excel it is not difficult at all, if this is initimidating then you are probably better off going another route.

Retyping all of the song info is not at all needed. (except sometimes to correct errors in file names).
