Tried searching for this, but if I missed it feel free to point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a duet song for a baritone/bass singer (Cash, Morrison, Nat king Cole) & a mid-soprano (Joan Jet, Lita Ford). Haven't been able to think of one. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

I am not sure I have ever heard Nat King Cole called a bass/baritone before, and certainly never heard him put in the same phrase as Johnny Cash. I suppose he is a baritone, but one of the types that is more on the tenor end of the scale (ala Glen Campbell or Brad Paisley). Whiskey Lullaby comes to mind, along with Up Where We Belong. |

Have you tried Candy from Iggy Pop and Kate Peirson (from B52s) And there's also Pouges Fairytale of New York but that's a Xmas song. |

Yup. If you try the Taylor Dayne version of "Can't Get Enough of Your Love" and superimpose it with the Barry White part (the parts are similar, but different and work very well together) you have an awesome duet. My husband and I do it all the time. There's not a "duet" track, but you don't need one. birdofsong |

How about "Jackson" with June Carter Cash? |

How about "You don't bring me flowers" Neil Diamond, and Streisand. Or Cruisin', either the old version, or the Gwenith Paltrow, Huey Lewis. Another is "Leather and Lace", Stevie Nicks and Don Henley (I think)? I can think of more if need be, I hope this helps. Rosario |

Thanks for all the help everyone! We ended up singing "Jackson" last night & it worked out perfect for us. The crowd loved it & we had fun! |

If that one worked for you, they have another duet that the crowd always loves too, though it's seldom ever sang, called "Long Legged Guitar Pickin' Man"... it's hard to find a guy who can pull off JC songs, so if you can, I'd snag all the good duets he has out there:) |

For future reference, Lady Antebellum's "I Run to You" is beautiful. |

Don Henley is a tenor, and this is quite high on the male parts. |
