Brand new HP DV6 laptop with compuhost, I guess i can sell the program, i bought it and used it twice, don't really know the legal status of doing that.

Compuhost is probably the one program you WON'T have a re-sale issue with, due to the dongle. Sell the dongle and you sell your ability to use the program.

Probably about $3000-3500 would be a fair price for all - if there is no music included. And not knowing actual model numbers of everything - have to figure based on lowest models.

Curiousity will get the best of me, but:

How come you are selling your equipment? If you are leaving the business, how come?

Also, I'm curious about the library- it wasn't listed...

I never really had a business, I have put all of this euuipment together over the past several years, i bought the compuhost program just before christmas, then at christmas my wife got me what she thought was a nice christmas gift to get me started, she gave me a 500 gig hard drive with 86,000 songs on it she saw over an advertisment on craigslist, well upon opening my gift i told her right away that she had been taken, she still had the guy's cell number so i gave him a call, needless to say he wasn't willing to return her 275.00, so i gave soundchoice a call and asked them what i should do and the information on the guy that sold this to my wife. Sound choice has offered to sell me the disc's i need to make the drive legal, however, soundchoice is only one out of many many lables on the disc, After all of this i have just lost interest in pursuing a karaoke show any longer, and i'm certainly not going to set up and run an illegal hard drive. That in a nutshell is why i'm selling my equipment. And i can assure anyone interested that all this equipment is in like new condition. I have the books on everything as well as the boxes for most of it. And i do have somewhere aroung 100 disc's that i will let go with the equipment. most disc's are chartbuster, soundchoice. But even with the disc's that i have there is not a wide enough variety to support a karaoke show.

Wow, that's too bad. Maybe it's time for craigslist to be held accountable for allowing this to happen on their site? You have a pretty decent set up. Why not give it a go and not ever have to wonder "what if"?
