I'm converting using a regular television, into using a computer monitor for my Karaoke. The way it was set up was a coaxle cable going from my laptop to a RF modulator and then to the television. How do I go about hooking up a computer monitor for my karaoke screen?

Never seen a laptop with a coax connector before.Does your laptop not have a video out where you can just run a standard video cable to the monitor? What about S-video out with an adapter.
You could just go to say Radio Shack, tell them what you want to do with what you have,i'm sure they would be able to set you up with what you need.

Laptop to computer monitor?

How about a good ol' fashioned VGA cable?

I agree, doesn't the puter have a vga output. I have had good luck with this for comming out of the vga to rca and a monitor...

I don't know if this product would help you(VGA output). It's powered from a usb, but I bought the $12 adapter in case the draw from the usb might cause problems.....it didn't, but the adapter is pretty unique, and I think I'll have other uses for it.

ps......it says it doesn't support pal.....does that mean I shouldn't recommend it to my friends?..... :)

Long VGA cable is all you should need unless for some reason your computer doesn't have a VGA output. You can get VGA cables in lengths of up to 100 feet.
