I had several requests for Theory of a Deadman's "Bad Girlfriend" so I commissioned MyCustomTracks to make a full backing track for me. It will be done in about 8 weeks. They use only live instruments and they do an excellent job with these rock songs. Message me if you are interested in more info.

Bad Girlfriend is available on 719X but this is their own rendition. Don't know if it's legal or not.

They have a link to an Austin KJ because he "donated" to their site. The KJ used to be a friend of mine but he was more about business over friendship, so if this site is illegal and anyone feel like taking down a pirate in Austin, feel free to drop dime on (Diamond) him.

Not legal as the publishers have not been paid for even use of the song.

Wow that was a subtle reference to a KJ!

When a guy wants to borrow my SBI custom disc to sing a song , I don't think buying me drinks and asking "What else you got?" and "Can I borrow this?" while looking through my cd case and somehow those discs got added to his collection was a way of paying me back.

That's what happens a lot in today's karaoke world. I try to visit karaoke shows that don't have a computer there with the ability to copy someone's discs. KJ's who still play discs only are my favorite venues. Copying a customer's CD behind the customer's back is as low as it gets....in my opinion.

The version on 719X is a vocally masked version. You can still hear the singer in the background and the EQ on the song is all messed up. I'm getting a studio version made from scratch with real guitars, background singers and it will be legal because the legal fees have been paid, the same as Sunfly and SBI pay. If you have always wanted a song on karaoke, it's the way to go.

{BEGIN SIDETRACK}

I actually ordered some custom discs for people at my shows who are a little less computer savvy. Gave them the discs and a backup on a flash drive. They still wanted me to leave a copy on my machine! That's why I got them the flash drive!

I do have A CDG player in my rack which I have to dust off once or twice a year!
