does anyone use an emachine ? Wally world has a laptop on sale for $298 ( windows 7 250 gig hard drive ) I have been thinking about it just not sure how good they are |

Emachines is the only major brand of PC I have personally blacklisted. I have just had too many troubles with the few I tried. |

emachine is now own by Acer so if you thrust them and like their products that shouldn't be a problem

My worry would be Windows 7, not the machine. How long will 7 be supported till Bill decides to throw some new pile of crap over the fence to us. Vista lasted a whole 3 years. Heck I have 2 computer still running 98 |
