Sorry if this has already been covered before. I have 21 Sound Choice custom disks that I am trying to rip to my hard drive, but the ripping program won't recognize them. I'm using the ripping program from Roxbox (only $5.00). All my Foundations, Bricks, and the 8100-8200 series come out O-K. I get the song and artist info, but when I try to do my customs, all I get is tracks 1 thru 15. No names or artists. Is there another ripping program that will let me rip my customs and still display all the pertanant information? Thanks everyone. |

You'll probably have to enter the info by hand. The ripping programs I've seen look for a disc id from the manufacturer (ex: SC8125). Since you're ripping custom discs they are not going to be in any commercial database, as you are the only one who has that disc. I haven't used the program you're using but most have the ability to manually enter the info before you rip. Kind of like getting a disc that's so new that it hasn't been entered in the database yet. |

Since they are custom discs, you will need to enter everything manually since those discs are not commercially made & tailored to your specifications - no program out there would know what is on the disc. |

IF (and that's a really big IF) they followed red book protocols for the custom CDG, you might be able to get the titles by having the ripper read the CD-Text file and TOC from the CD. That would save you a little typing at least. Audio Grabber will do this, I don't know about other ones . . . |

Thanks guys. I thought it was the block that Sound Choice put on the disks that kept the ripping program from reading the disks. O-K, one somg at a time it is. 15 songs on 21 disks. Piece of cake. |

AUDIOGRABBER will let you manually list title and artist on the entire disc so you can rip all tracks at once. |

I found that getting my ol' lady to type stuff in is almost as good as the free data bases...... |
