OTSAV DJ Pro Problem

Post subject:  OTSAV DJ Pro Problem
I have purchased a Blaster X-FI Surround 5.1 to use with my laptop. It works fine with my karoke program but when i start my otsav dj pro program my sound still comes out of my computer instead of the speakers. When i plug from my computer to speakers using the headset jack it works. Can someone please help.

I don't use otsav dj pro but I do use VirtualDJ. What I had to do to make my Blaster X-FI is to go to the preference on VirtualDJ and set my channels to the right output. I use the main for Left and Right and the headphone for rear left and rear right. Make sure you select two separate output for the X-FI so that you can fade in/out to/from main and the headphones.

In OTS you have to set the output to the sound card you want to use for the main playing. Sounds like it's still pointing to the laptop sound card. On the top bar is a little speaker icon, click it. That opens up the output configuration, then click set on the 'on air' and change the sound card to the Xfi.
