Well I have been a background reader here for awhile now and have learned alot from you guys.... and for that I wanna Thank You for all your great posts.
I had gotten into karaoke about a year and a half ago because of my new girlfriend (she was really into it) and since have been having the time of my life.
So we decided about 2 months ago to start buying equipment and give it a go. We had about 300 disc's to start with so we started buying mics amps speakers mixer and so on and so on.
Well I hooked up with a bar about 30 minutes away and they gave us a try that was 6 weeks ago.. they liked it and booked us for a few nights . so we went out and hit another bar... ran a free night(they agreed to buy our drinks and we agreed to do karaoke there for 1 night free) they liked it so much they not only bought our drinks they bought our dinner and paid us for the night anyhow. Also booked some more shows.
Now we are booked at 2 different bars for the next 4 weeks and my head is spinning I really cant believe it is taking off this great this early... Now my challenge is to build the music library ( which we have already added alot too) I think i am gonna add a few CB package deals this next week.
But I do admit it is a little scarry with all this legal stuff on here cause we started out the gate with running a harddrive... All the music on there is legal I do have the original copy so I hope I am doing the right thing here.
Well just wanted to jump in and tell you about me and I am ready to speak up now... Thanks Again for all your help even if you didn't know you were helping at the time... This is a great site!!!!!!!
