I just got a new Toshiba Satellite to run my karaoke. It only has HDMI for Video and then I still need to get to my mixer which only has RCA jacks. I need help. |

RCA jacks for what? Video? Are you sure it's HDMI and not DVI? |

You should have vga on your laptop where you can use this to hook up to your tv: http://www.monoprice.com/products/produ ... 1&format=2 As for the sound you will need one of these cables to run from your headphone jack on laptop to mixer: http://www.monoprice.com/products/produ ... 1&format=2 Hope this helps. |

HDMI is becoming a standard feature on many laptop lines. A usb sound card/device would be the way to go. You then go to mixer(in windows) and choose between hdmi and the external sound card for output. |
