A lot has been writtin and discussed about Sound Choice 8125 (Eagles), and it's high value. Is there any particular value or desireability for the Sound Choice "Milestone" disk ? For those not familiar with the Milestone disk, it was given free to Sound Choice customers when SC finished their first 100 disks. After 8199 came out, SC sent this complementry disk to all it's customers. The Milestone doesn't even have a number assigened to it's just called Milestone I. If I remember correctly, it was given out sometime around 1991 or '92. |

I never did recieve mine, they all went fast apparantly when they first offered it. I am surprised it's not more sought after, it had a bunch of songs that were not released anywhere at the time. |

I'd like to know how many were made. I suspect only a couple of hundred or so. It could be that most KJ's never heard of the Milestone disk. Hope someone out there can shed more light as to the rarity or value of these. |

maybe the songs on this discs are the songs that SOUND CHOICE'S UNDERCOVER PEOPLE are looking for when they "investigate" potential "pirates" ??? If they only gave these away to their customers, way back when; then only those customers should have those songs in their data base hard drives. |

It happened around 95-96, about the time Spotlight 8200 came out, celebrating the first "Milestone" for SC. It was given to kj's only, the kj had to send in a proveable business card & $5 for shipping to receive the disc. It contained artists that were not really karaoke ok at the time, although many of those songs eventually did make it out to karaoke either through SC or other manus. Again, I tried to get my copy but was too late. I know a couple other kj's that did manage to get it. At the time it was the only available version of Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road which I had tons of requests for back then. |

I got it when it came out. I had to provide $5 and a jacket from a sound choice disc. I didn't have a business card back then. I was just starting out. |
