Help...My Friday night show has many young BRAZILIAN customers who come in to work the season at the 6 flags amusement park across the street. They have been requesting "Brazilian" Karaoke. I"ve done some searching and see a few tracks that are listed as MP3 instrumental versions with no mention of "graphics" and lyrics. Anyone have a good site they know of for Brazilian type music ????? The artist that was mentioned is :Ivete Sangalo But I'm sure there are others |

latenite aftershow post Jam, but if you didn't know, you should search for "portugesa karaoke" or songs in portugese, the language of Brazil. I have almost 1500 tracks but can't recall the manu and i removed the portugese, spanish, and italian from my books a few years ago... i can look but later on today. |

KJ Pro only lists one song by Ivete Sangalo...Se Eu Nao Amasse Tanto Assim. The brand of disc is Kantatu Portuguese. I'm not sure who sells them though. |

Jam Found this for you; hope it helps. Please note that they are DVD's which is quite common, as are VCD's, for foreign karaoke! http://www.portugalkaraoke.com/ Also, I believe Brazilians are very familiar with Spanish songs as well. Ask your customers about that |

I've got a Pocket Songs disc, PSCDG 1536, with the English versions of So Nice (Summer Samba), and My Little Boat (O Barquinho ). Both are 60's bossa nova songs, but I suspect they would be pretty recognizeable as standards to a Brazilian audience. |

Can't vouch for the brand but I remembered seeing that Kantatu is offered by Selectatrack. Just checked and they have the song mentioned above (won't try to spell it) plus they put a (BR) after some of the songs which seems to denote Brazil (as that is what they put after the above song). |
