I just got a new Toshiba Satellite to run my karaoke. It only has HDMI for Video and then I still need to get to my mixer which only has RCA jacks. I need help.

RCA jacks for what? Video?

Are you sure it's HDMI and not DVI?

You should have vga on your laptop where you can use this to hook up to your tv:

As for the sound you will need one of these cables to run from your headphone jack on laptop to mixer:

HDMI is becoming a standard feature on many laptop lines.


A usb sound card/device would be the way to go. You then go to mixer(in windows) and choose between hdmi and the external sound card for output.
