I get a #no ole automation interface error when the program boots up and I have no sound or graphics.
Typically it will run through the song in about half a second and go to the next one. HELP! I have a show this weekend,,,,,,,
Thanks

Gary,

I have seen something posted similar to this on their forums. Apparently it is caused by certain support files not installing properly, possibly as a result of an errant virus scanner or a file permission issue.

If you're running Vista or Windows 7, I'd strongly suggest you turn off UAC (User Account Control) and then reinstall CH. Keep UAC turned off, it's a PIA anyway!

Here's a pretty good link outlining how to turn off UAC.

Good Luck

NO NO NO! As they've said numerous times, they are NOT SUPPORT forums, they are USER forums. You can post there, maybe some users will help, but if you want support from CH, you'll need submit a support request.

Sorry. "USER HELP forums". Better?

Geez, the POINT is that the best place for software support is from the people who actually wrote it.

And MY point was that if you want help from the people "that wrote it", you don't seek help from "other users". which is what the "User Forums" are intended for, "other users". However, to communicate directly with the people "who wrote it", they ask that you submit a Support Inquiry as described on their website .

And yet after all that, you quote solutions you have seen from those same user forums. Sheesh!

Are you related to Gemini Male? Just curious.

Did you not suggest the OP go to the user forums for help from the "people that wrote it"? YES or NO

I was only reiterating that if the OP wants to communicate with "the people that wrote it", they shouldn't use the USER FORUMS.

You're obviously wishing to turn this personal, so here goes...

Na, never mind, anybody that reads your posts can ascertain your intelligence, or lack of.

Oooh! You called me stupid! I am so hurt. Yeah...it's me turning things personal alright.

Yup. Definitely drama queen related.

Hey look. YOU WIN. I incorrectly called the "user help forum" a "support forum". I sincerely apologize for this gross error.
