I was browsing through songs on selectatrack.com and noticed that there are multiple downloads available for songs from different companies. My PC speakers aren't that great so it's kinda hard to tell the difference in the versions, but are some companies better than others? I really don't want to end up ordering something out of ignorance if a better version was available.

Thanks in advance!

I have my affinity for SBI and Sunfly but have been burned by both. Zoom is better generally. When I start hitting other manus it is generally because I have exhausted other opportunities.

Tricerasoft is generally cheaper than selectatrack, as is SBI directly and they don't have the 3 song minimum. Some songs can only be found on selectatrack though.

Thanks for the feedback John I'll check out Tricerasoft and SBI before making a purchase. This is for home/recreational use, but still want something better than Party Time....lol.

Seltect-a-track and Tricerasoft both sell the three major UK brands (Zoom, Sunfly and SBI). It seems that often Select-a-track gets the newest songs released first but that may not always be the case.

Both companies also have several smaller brands, maybe a slithgly bigger selection from Select-a-track.

My view is SBI and Zoom are usually good, and the recent Sunfly is also good. Some of the older sunfly is not as good but usually ok. A bit hard to tell without research though how old the sunfly tracks are.

Selectatrack actually has the same manus plus others that Tricerasoft doesn't carry.

I absolutely love Selectatrack. I have ordered many times from them - the discs are always good, the songs are always what I ordered, and believe it or not, if I order on a Saturday they're usually in my mailbox by the following Thursday! Sunfly is doing a good job on new stuff, but the great thing is you can listen to all the versions on their website. I have SBI versions of things, too - pretty decent. The best deal about this site is they have an excellent selection. I love being able to order songs individually, and have pretty well stopped buying full CDGs with a bunch of songs that will never get sung.

Actually Tricerasoft has one other manus that Select A Track misses,
Music Factory. They have about 2000 songs but nearly all of them are in other manu's lists.

Select A Track has a broader base and is begining to have some languages other than English, but the selection is not too deep for non-english songs.

Your right they do not carry that brand and maybe one other - but neither would be my first choice honestly if available from other brands & as you mention, they are almost all already available on the other brands so not really worth mentioning IMO!
