I've been looking for POS software and I'm running into walls. I would rather buy software from the US where I can get customer service in my own time zone or at least a 3 hour difference. I do not want to call Asia at 11PM to talk about my problems.

I have been trying other solutions, such as a Billiards POS software. However, the limited number of players (guests) to be added to a table (room) are too limited.

Also, some software needs to check in a guest. Which also requires me to make a profile for that guest. I have no need for that. Tabs, Memberships, etc. don't exist at this establishment.

Lastly, I would like to build the POS system since I already have computers available. Any Advice?

I'll be posting this in the Technical Forum as well.

What is it, exactly, that you are wanting the software to do?

The POS needs to:
Charge by the person. Be able to add and remove customers from a room at any time. Be compatible with cash registers or drawers and receipt printers.

Easily add multiple customers to one room.

Keep records for Administrators/Managers only. (optional)

I think that would sum it up. Hopefully I'm not missing anything.

Well, I'm not sure exactly what everything does, but it sounds like Autokdj does at least a good portion of the stuff you're looking for. I believe it's autokfe add on you want but do check the site out. www.autokdj.com

I think this is a wrong forum for a POS software recommendation. Almost everyone here is involved with the KJ aspect but not bar ownership. I think you can find better answer on another forum for bar owners.

I am still confused....Are you charging for a customer to sing a Karaoke song?

I think they are charging by the hour for a room, or something to that effect.

Sorry mate.
Eben is right.
For EPOS software you want something like a store keepers forum.
I used to repair the stuff years ago.
It has as much to do with karaoke as boiled eggs.
