Hello; I have been in the wedding band industry for many years and I have decided to start my own DJ/Karaoke business. I'm currently in the research phase of getting the business organized, purchasing equipment, and just trying to find out as much information as I can. It's great to be able to come on a forum like this and chat with people who have more knowledge and get recommendation based on others who have years of experience and success. so, with that said, I would appreciate anyone who can give me advice. I am looking at going the way of CD's and Ipod along with getting 2 external WD My Notebook hard drives to store music and perhaps using a laptop with Virtual DJ and/or Serato. Anyone suggest a very good CDG player? I was looking at the CAVS DVD-203G USB and also have Gemini CDM-3700G TableTop Dual Karaoke CD/Mixer Console. Where do you get all your karaoke music? Downloads? CDG's? Thanks..any and all comments and suggestions welcome. Enjoy and Keep spinnin'! |
