Lone Wolf, I can't access Ebay through my firewall. How much is the disc going for??

I saw that same disc go for $325.00 a few years ago.

It;s a new auction. Only one bid thus far @ $79.99 with 4+ days left to go.

Is it new, or used? Might be a good investment

Says its brand new still in the packaging. We found in a lot purchased from a former KJ.

The $325.00 I saw this disc go for on Ebay in 2008 was a used disc.

I myself would never spend more than $30.00 on a discontinued disc like that, but it is probably a pretty good investment as a collectable if you could get it around $200-250. Keep an eye on it!!

Although I consider all but maybe 5 Backstage discs to be nothing more than drink coasters, This one is actually better than SC's. I think I spent $9.00

I thought Backstage was the absolute worst, the only song that I feel is soemwhat useable with much tweaking on the eq is Get Over It. Otherwise the SC blows it out of the water. Even Zoom now has most of those songs & are still better than BS.

I have to agree with Lonnie on this one. I have the backstage Eagles disc, and I cringe, every time someone wants to sing a song from it. I feel ashamed to play it,,it's THAT bad! In my opinion, Backstage is one of those "last resort" discs, if I can't find it ANYWHERE else, I might (thats a big might) consider buying/using Backstage. Just one of many differing opinions. :)

Oh... the SC-8125. Not that I wouldn't like to have one, but the title on this thread had me kind of excited... ;-)

Cost to copy from a friend...FREE!!!!

Sound Choice didn't have the rights to produce this CD. I find it hard to believe if you have a copy of it they can do anything about it.

What I don't understand about it is that it also includes 7.15 for shipping by ground mail. I thought shipping was a lot cheaper for a CD. Is it sent in it's own lead lined box?

While many agree that BS is better than SC, we BOTH agree that Zoom is better than BS. Therefore, Zoom is probably better than SC as well, and a better deal.

A very good point. SC never had the licensing for it. Enjoy!

You're deaf. Right? Some kind of hearing issues??

Actually, MOST of the PROFESSIONAL Karaoke HOSTS that I spek to agree with me.

You're hostile and insulting, right? Some kind of personality issues?

Joe I've sung SC Hotel and Desperado at a another KJ's show and I prefer BS as well for those 2 songs over SC. Especially Desperado.

Each to his own, etc. but personally I'll never be excited about any cdg with a pan flute on it unless Zamfir starts adding a vocal to his tracks.

I'm curious as to whether anybody ever got the bass glissandos right on "One Of These Nights". Definitely not on my Zoom or Backstage Eagles disc. Have never heard it sung on the SC-8125 and don't own one so I honestly don't know.
