Table reviews.... That one that you are looking at does have the industry standard four leg design and is very very effective at keeping gravity from pulling your equipment to the ground. Highly recommended if you need to hover anything of mass at a short distance above the earth. Seriously, though, you really can't go wrong with any decent table. I have the Odessey version of that same table and it has been negating the effects of gravity on my rack for about 6 years now! |

Here's (Grundorf AT-5422) one in a similar price range with adjustable legs and even a port hole for routing cables. |

I use a foldable 4 ft. banquet table I purchaed at Sam's club for under $40.00 and had a friend drill a 4 inch hole in it. Then I cut a slit in my custom made vinyl table cloth, which displays my logo on the front, in the same spot as the hole. This is where I drop in my cables and they are totally hidden from view. On the table top, from left to right, I have my roadcase, which houses my amplifier, mixer, and wireless mic receiver, next to that is my lap top, which sits on an adjustable lap top stand I got at Staples, and next to that is my mouse pad & wireless mouse. It's all a perfect fit and very professional presentation. All in all, I would say there is close to 50 lbs of gear sitting on the table. Been using the same table for years and there's never been a issue of durability. Just make sure you lock the legs in place properly when setting up. Hope this helps! |

The one thing I hate about the tables that you can buy is the height. So here was my solution. I use a regular 4 foot folding table I bought at WalMart. Cost was 29 bucks. I then bought a 10' piece of 3/4" conduit and cut it into 4 equal pieces. Took the rubber feet off of the table legs and slid each of the 4 pieces of conduit into the legs,,(was a perfect fit) Then put 4 new rubber ends on the bottom of the 4 legs (conduit). This made the height much better for me. I don't have to bend over at all! I like the idea of putting a hole in the table to put cords through, but for me, it's not necessary. Each of my venues I set up against a wall or a fixture. Hence, hiding the cords from the laptop and anything on the table. 4' folding table = $29.00 10' conduit section = $4.00 rubber feet = $2.50 my back = priceless |

http://www.amazon.com/Stage-KS7150-Tabl ... 597&sr=8-5 I bought this. Then took a piece of pressed wood, cut to the length of the stand but made the width 23 inches. Cut in half, drilled a 4" hole in one piece for cords/cables. I throw a sheet or plastic party sheet over the two boards (which I hinged together) poked a hole in the sheet and run the cables from my rack down through the hole to the floor. The tray, board and sheets all fit in my gator bag. 2 minutes set up. |

I use a portable DJ booth made out of carpeted plywood. Folds out to become a facade and shelf to sit my rack stuff on at just the right height. Takes about 15 seconds to unfold and set up, and takes about the same amount of time to fold up. Weighs about 35 pounds, and when folded up is about 35" x 18 1/2" x 10", so it's ultra portable. I hang my banner on the front. Gives everything a nice, clean, professional look. This is pretty close to what the one I have looks like: http://www.123dj.com/cases/stands/cf6048.html As far as i'm concerned.. if you've got your stuff in a rack, this is the only way to go. |

This is the one I use, not the most sturdy (can get a little shaky with 140lbs of equipment on top of it) but it does the job. I usually use my amp rack that goes under the table to help stabilize it. http://www.walmart.com/ip/4-Foot-Folding-Table/7679248 The one you posted looks real nice, it's one that I've considered on a few occasions but didn't like the corners not being flat and it is more narrow than a standard table. |

I also use the fold-in-half table for my small rig, works great, very portable. Stong enough for a small rack, powered mixer, and laptop. |
