That's a really interesting selection. Like it.

Ones I can recall are: Little White Church and Boondocks by Little Big Town
Dark Lady and Believe by Cher
People Are Crazy by Billing Currington
American Honey and Need You Now by Lady A
Simple Man--Lynyrd
Get Back--Beatles
Bobby McGee--Janis
Long Black Train--Josh Turner
Smile--Uncle Kracker
I Only Wanna Be With You--Hootie
Dead Or Alive--Bon Jovi
Save the Last Dance--Buble version
Dear Mr. President--Pink
Love Shack--UB40
My Baby Loves Me--Martina McBride

We have a new trend of people bringing in the original artist's CDs and wanting to sing along with them. Has happened with 3 different people in 3 weeks now. We can push the vocal remover button on one of our players but 2 of the people wanted the voice to sing along with. Surprisingly, it worked out well and they got alot of applause. Last night a guy did it with a Rick Springfield song that really rocked the place.

I would have done Waka Waka by Shakira but we had a crowd so I didn't sing.

I get a good mix of songs, as far as I remember only about 10 of these songs have been sung in the previous 6 months at my shows (about 30 shows), the others are all the first time I have heard them recently sung, which is a bit better than average. Usually a little over half of the songs sung are "new" (or new for the last 6 months). Most of my regulars try to avoid haveing a pattern of singing the same songs every time. The only unusual thing about the night is that there was no David Bowie songs sung, which is quite unusual for my shows.

Have to tell you with those songs your show would be one that I would frequent, great mix of songs that I like. Upbeat songs like those make for a fun show.
