I have recently switched from Behringer B1520 Pro speakers to Yamaha S115V 2-Way 15" Club Series V Speakers and I'm glad I did. A really good upgrade me. I've been looking at a Yamaha P2500S Dual Channel Power Amp in the Description it states that it's equippped with a specially designed circuit tailored to the response of Club Series speakers. Would this be true or a sales pitch? Thanks Jerry |

Actually the P5000S is a better match powerwise for the S115V. As far as their amps being perfect matches for their speakers, I believe this is more of a line to try to keep the buyer brand consistant. It might (stress MIGHT) have been specifically designed to be a perfect match, but I find that unlikely. Take a look at the QSC GX5, perfect match powerwise, VERY well built, sounds great and about half the cost as a comparable Yamaha amp of the same power. |

I had looked at the QSC's amps but didn't know anything about them. They're very reasonably priced and probably be the way I go. Thanks! |

You won't be disappointed, I just replaced one of my amps with one and it sounds great - especially for the price. Check the reviews on most of the sites, you are going to have to search to actually find any negatives on them (sure there are always some). |

I second that. I used Yamaha and Crown before, but the QSC I am using now beats the Yamaha and is slightly ahead of the Crown. You won't regret it. |

Plus QSC offers a 6 year warranty, in which chances are you won't ever need it. |

That is exactly my setup. The "YS Processing" is just a slight EQ bass boost as far as I can tell. I got a great deal on the amp used via eBay and paired with the speakers, they sound awesome. |
