I got the Sub today. A little bigger than I expected...
. But it is leight compared to the size. I will try it out tonight =)

I'm about to get just one Sub for now for indoor gigs, but I'm unsure which one. For outside gigs I use a pair of Yorkville LS800P's, which is more than plenty but way to heavy to carry them (or even just one) inside for my regular bar/restaurant gigs. I just recently upgraded from my Ev Sx500's to the Dynacord D-Lite 15-3 Speakers. (A really phantastic speaker by the way). I drive it with the QSC PLX3602 Amp with 775 Watts per Channel with the amp turned down to around 50%. So my questions are: 1. Are the following subs sufficient? Like I said, I only want to get one for now, since I'm only going to use it inside. 2. Which one would you go with? - Yorkville NX 720 (15", $844, 720 Watts, 77.6 lbs) - RCF ART 705-AS (15", $990, 800 Watts, 81.56 lbs) - dB technologies Sub 15D (15", $1248, 800 Watts, 70.55 lbs) - RCF ART 902-AS (12", $1350, 1000 Watts, 65.25 lbs) Unfortunately I don't have a dealer in the area who carries any of them, so I could listen to them. Have you thought about the NX200S. They're smaller but put out a good thump for their size and only 57 lbs. |

I have a pair of DB Technologies SUB12s, and they are BY FAR the best subs I have ever owned. I don't think you would be dissapointed with the SUB15s. |

Don't be afraid of the wattage. On the very rare occassion when our 700s have to be serviced our 200 did quite well. In fact no one noticed any difference. For an indoor gig, it would do fine. But as usual hear them for yourself. |

I went with the DB Sub 15D. I know the RCF's are better known and have a good reputation, but after some research I found out that the RCF's are technically pretty much identical with the DB's since they're practically the same company. And the DB is just lighter, which is my ultimate priority right now. Plus your input Topher and other very positive reviews... So let's see! |

I think you will be quite unhappy. You should have went with a matching Bosch product. I would have gone with a passive Dynacord Sub 118. Your mains are 15" you are not going to gain much frequency by adding a 15" sub. If cost was an issue an EV Tour-x 18 would have been a good choice also. You have the rolls royce of speakers and you rounded out your system with a Chrysler product for a sub. |

Well, I still do have the Yorkville LS800P's, which are 1500 Watts 18" Subs. So they match the specs of the Sub 118 and almost the weight too. I just wanted one (smaller and lightweight) sub to enrich the sound when I play inside and don't have too much "umpf" either. |

I would have recommended mine of course, the Carvin LS1801NA 18" 72 lbs, 700 watts for $550 delivered. Plenty of oompa there! dB technologies Sub 15D (15", $1248, 800 Watts, 70.55 lbs) 15" that weighs 70 lbs? Lot of money and weight for 800 watts. Let us know how it turns out. Good luck. |
