In order to upload a song to this site, can anyone tell me what I need to set my recorder to that has these data types:

Data Type: Recording (stereo only)
WAVE: 44.1/48/88.2/96 kHz, 16/24 bits
MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3): 44.1/48 kHz, 64/96/128/160/192/224/320 kbps
Playback
WAVE: 32/44.1/48/88.2/96 kHz, 16/24 bits
MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3): 32/44.1/48 kHz, 32 to 320 kbps or VBR (Variable Bit Rate)

I don't know what any of this means.

Depends on the length of the song, you just need to get the final file size under 3MB. So you may have to play with the mp3 settings. Usually 96 will be an avg setting. but sometimes you can go one step up or need to go one step down.

They should really update this site so people can post good quality 320Kbps mp3s

That's a paid priviledge for those that want to upload bigger files.

I'm a paid member and max is 4mb so I still need to use 128k and often less to upload I agree, it should be updated...

Yep you got the PLUS package, there are 2 other paid memberships that allow up to 7mb.
