I have a JB199. Everytime I try to "capture a cdg disk" during the playback there is skipping--- even if the disk is brand new. Do i need to change the conversion speed or the compression rate?? This is very frustrating and take me several tries to get it into the machine. I have the correct Plexor burner which I purchased from CAVS....Help |

I don't have a CAVS, but have had several Plextor drives. How old is it, the drives do not last a great amount of time. |

Also how many times has it been used in the year. |

It was the plexor drive. I went ahead and purchased the CAVS encoder and then saved to a thumb drive to put directly into my CAVS computer. I just liked having it backed up on disk--now that will be an extra step... |
