I'm thinking of upgrading my rig and getting a new laptop with this, does anyone know if it will allow for transmission to multiple tv's?

Yes if you get more receivers.
Looks like an expensive way of doing it though.

Supposedly you're supposed to be able to send a signal from the computer to a tv. I would think that if your tv's support this then it would be a matter of selecting the right channel on each tv to use it.

I would think if you could take the receiver & split that signal, you should have a problem.

The signal wont be split.
Just picked up by multiple receivers.
Works fine for the BBC.

Probably not ideal. Says it works upto 20 feet, but depending upon the reviewer,
latency seems to be an issue - up to 0.5 seconds, which isn't going to work for karaoke. You'll also have problems if there's congestion at 2.4GHz in your venue.

I meant take the receiver & split the signal via wires (I did this with a wireless system I had years ago) - which yes is really defeating the purpose of the wireless factor, but the receiver has to have some kind of output to connect to the monitor, if it takes that wire & split that, then it should be able to go to multiple tv's.

Looks like that is another plus for Compuhost.

Or MTU Hoster, can adjust an offset like that to fix a lagging/too fast lyric swipe. :D

There are FAR better options.

Convert from VGA to composite video - and then send it. ;)

Works well for me, has for about 8 years. Latency is minimal if any.
