I really hope the "Webguru" (Phill) don't mind me taking the initiative on starting this thread, So here goes. MY LIST of THE Singer's Showcase BEST Performances For 5/29 to 6/4 2004 And the Top 5 ARE...... 1) KAZ...............................................Spooky (listen to this production!) 2) M3Li55A...................Closest Thing To Crazy (A World Class Recording) 3) Tonmay....................................Not Unusual (Great Job all around!) 4) Old Paint..........................Sexy I meant "Angel Eyes" -- We love ya OP! 5) freewindspirit a.k.a. "madonna".... Borderline --- The best song she's done yet. I have an Honerable Mention too... Joe.............................................. When I'm Gone 3 Doors Down Done with heart .. Joe If I was starting a new band in alternative.. you'd be the lead vocalist.. AWESOME JOB! SINGERS.. THIS WEEK HAS BEEN THE HARDEST WEEK TO CHOOSE THE TOP 5.. Listen to all the songs carefully.. and fully before making your decisions.. i know some of the best songs take time to do..& some of them take no time at all.. so really listen. I was blown away by the quality improvements vocally & technically this week alone! Keep up the great work! |

I am really excited about the weekly top 5. And not because I finally made someone's list - although that is a pretty great feeling. Once I have my high speed internt hooked up ..."next week..." or so they say... I will be a MONSTER listener. For now, I just can't seem to listen to enough to make good picks....but I sure liked what I did hear from: OkWhatKnow, LikesToListen (and sing, apparently), SweetLittle, Qowboy, BUm, ..... you get the point. |

OP.. I'm not on high speed.. i'm still on snailnet... but i'm a patient guy... just with a few.. just a fast modem.. the Sonset Beach has a 4 line ISDN though. My rehersal studio has a 2 line ISDN for live production and telephone conferencing only it's spendy for a year. I'm close to yanking it. |

I require at least five people to submit their opinions prior to selecting the "Best Performance of the Week" In order for this to be fair. So please everyone, submit your opinions! Don't forget these rules:
