Hi There! I'm looking for some help! i'm in the final of a pub karaoke comp on thursday! there's a lot at stake for the winner... 5,000k I'm having trouble picking 2 good songs! I am female and 30, have a alto - low soprano range. I have sung perviously shakira- underneath your clothes, mariah careys version of I'll be there, celine dion - I surrender, Let it be. I need something fast and something slow. I was considereing The greatest love of all- Whitney Houston for the slow one, and i'm completely at a loss for the second. My version of I surrender was judged very harshly by the judges, in fact they said i sang it perfectly but it was a non runner and would never be played on radio????
Anyways, some advice would be super please! :D

I've always been in bands and am now starting on my own as a vocalist using karaoke tracks. I guess I have two questions here, is there a way to cut the credits at the beginning of the songs like the key, title and writer and question number two is...is that legal?

There are ways, but legal? Not so much..

The fees you would need to pay would be excessive..

There are threads here on modifying the CD+G portion of the song, but it's time consuming and not really worth it (To me anyway)..

You can use the search function

Would you need the lyrics?

This sort of indicates you would be singing requests
rather than a rehearsed set?

A bit like a one man karaoke?
