Hey who would be BRAVE enough to hold an ACAPPELLA CONTEST with your favorite Karaoke tracs---and post it up on Singers Showcase----just record them as you usually do, but just turn off the music and ONLY have your LOVELY ACAPELLA VOICES for the world to hear??!! |

You've got to be kidding, right? Who would be the judge and would they have the courage to be honest about the singing that was submitted? From my experience, honesty is extremely frowned upon in the Singers' Showcase. Anyone who leaves a negative comment becomes a pariah and the rest of the "gang" tries to get the person banned, That is why some of the worst singers in the world are constantly being told how great they sing. Everyone is afraid to upset the apple cart with the truth. I, for one, would be brave enough to submit a song for a contest but I don't know if enough people would do it to make it interesting. |

Just post em up like regular Karaoke songs. Shouldnt be too terrible for the people that post up regular songs here--theyre all pretty good singers and shouldnt sound that bad.............I have actually done this at the bar I KJ at----have sang Eagles Desperado accapella on a slow night and then others would sing something elese ACAPELLA---didnt work out too badly! As to having a judge---no real need for a judge---just get the regular remarks from the regular people here on KS SS. |
