I've had my computer up and running for two weeks (six shows). Tried to use it today and the songs won't play... If I press "go" on a track it pauses for a split second, flashes up "Stop track" and then reverts to the "performance has ended" (In a similiar way a track that hasn't ripped would).

Tried the hardrive on another computer, and had no problems loading playing the songs with karafun.

I've also reinstalled the program and rebuilt the songlist to no avail.
Also tried the harddrive with the demo version on my partners computer and tracks played fine.

Am I missing anything obvious? or is their something I can do?
Thanks for you time.

Just to add: I have e-mailed support, but like everything in this world, I need it sorted yesterday (Just had 5000 slips made without track codes, and I dread looking up all the customers songs tomorrow) and was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem and fixed it.

Good News is I've fixed it... (mainly by giving the computer a stern talking too, prayer and pressing lots of buttons) but still wondering if anyone could tell me how and why this may have happened and what to do in the future?

Don't question it, You fixed it, take the credit and be happy. :D

I have found a stern talking too, prayer and pressing lots of buttons will fix problems with many things...unexplainable-maybe, undeniable-yes. 8)

To the OP:

The reason you experienced what you did is because your sound card was not properly configured. Start CompuHost and select File --> System Devices and Options -->Audio Device Setup. Make sure Main Audio and Filler Audio are set to use the same sound card or USB interface by selecting it from the drop down list.

Never would have guessed that reason in a million years, (I would have thought it still would have played the scrolling lyrics, without sound) but you'e correct I received my e-mail from support saying the same thing.
