Has anybody got a good list of duets they would be willing to share? Everytime someone asks me what good one is I draw a blank spot. I can only reccommed "Picture" & "Summer Nights" so many times. Thanks, Mojo |

Off the top of my head - Lady Antebellum and Black Eyed Pea songs are popular now. Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy Jackson Summer Nights Your the One That I Want Time Warp Unforgettable Cruising The Beat Goes On I Got You Babe - I prefer the reggae version Wild Night - John Melloncamp and Me'shell Ndege'ocello Here Without You - Three Doors Down and Sara Evans Mockingbird Paradise By the Dash Board Lights - Aaaarg! There are a lot of fun songs for 2 people to sing that aren't duets too. I aalways tell people they can sing anything together it doesn't have to be a duet per say. Just switch off singing the verses and sing the chorus together. 500 Miles 867-5309 Brown Eyed Girl |

Thanks Babs, I think I'm going to make a seperate list that I keep out of the books. Only show the list when asked about duets again. I'm afraid if I put this page in every book I'll hear duets all night. Mojo |

I think I have 4 pages in my songbooks just for duets, but here are some I've been singing that I haven't seen mentioned above: Stumblin' In - Suzy Quattro & Chris Norman (I like the CB version) All I Ask of You - Phantom of the Opera (I like the Karaoke Hits version better than the more popular Pocket Song version) Phantom of the Opera - the title song (I like the Song Factory version over PS) The Prayer - Celine Dion & Andrea Bocelli (Pocket Song version) Oiga - Joan Sebastian & Marisela (Multi-Karaoke version) Fergalicious - Fergie (PHM version) Don't Cha - Pussycat Dolls feat. Snoop Dogg (SC version) Hope that helps, haha. |

Mojo Good idea or if you don't want to be bothered by people asking for the list, you can put it in the back of your books. I seldom have people that go to the last page for anything. |

I always enjoy "Like We Never Loved At All" - Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. The harmonies aren't too difficult, and in a pinch the male singer can always drop an octave and sing the soprano line. Does anyone else think that from a lyrical standpoint "We've Got Tonight" doesn't really work as a duet? |

Here's a few others that come to my mind.. Forever Tonight - Peter Cetera and Crystal Bernard (for the tenors and sopranos) You're The Reason God Made Oklahoma - David Frizell & Shelly West (baritone/altos) Reunited - Peaches and Herb Does He Love You - Reba and Linda Davis Because of You - Kelly Clarkson and Reba Highwayman - Highwayman (works for single, duets and group) Hey Paula - Paul and Paula Love is Strange - Mickey and Sylvia The Girl Is Mine - Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney Don't Fall in Love With a Dreamer - Kenny Rogers and Kim Carnes I have heard or done every one of these songs before at either my show or someone else's . Some of them are done quite frequently. |

One of my favorite duets is Suddenly by Cliff Richard and Olivia Newton John. I only saw one version ever published (I believe it was Zoom?) From Broadway, I can never find someone who knows the female part, song I love is The Last Night of the World from Miss Saigon. From country, In Another's Eyes by Trisha and Garth and also by the same artists, Squeeze Me In. |
