Hi, Looking for some advice. I already own some published sound effects. But, am looking for more, good quality stuff that can be purchased. I'm not talking about creating my own thru a quality mixer with effects (I have that), but rather professional quality published material. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

How about a Google search for "professional sound effects?" Works like magic! |

Not sure what you are really looking for, I bought several sound effect discs from what used to be called a record store in a misc. section. |

Hi Lonman, Appreciate the response. Looking for a wide array of sound effects to incorporate in karaoke vocals to add some uniqueness for the fun of it. |

Again like what? The discs I bought combined had over 1500 different sound effects on them that I picked the ones I wanted to use for my shows. Just hit the music store & look at the sound effects discs they have. You would be better off hitting a dedicated music store (if you can find one) over one that just sells some cd's. http://www.tower.com/tower_search/searc ... %20effects |

My favorite was always the Hannah Barbera SFX discs. Basically every cartoon sound effect you ever heard as a kid. Pricey though ($495). |

Here is another option: MS Office products have "Clip Art". Narrow the search parameters to "Sounds" and search. They have tons of them... |
