You can do the same as mine.
And that would be????
Here is my prev/current system:
PC: Quad 6600 CPU
Sound Card: HT Omega Striker Omega 7.1/ M-Audio 1010LT
Before I use standalone karaoke dvd player:
RjTech 1500 II
Now:
Mixer: 1402 VLZ III (which is better then Pro version)
Lexicon: MX400XL
Comp: Dbx 1066
Eq: Dbx 2231
Receiver: Pioneer Elite 140w/Chanel
Speakers:
4 BOS Digital 400w/max program
2 Classis Rectilinear III Highboy 400w/max program
MIC: Hisonic Hisonic HSU482H 48/EV D967
I play all 6 speakers during karaoke party at 0dB-4dB levels in Extended Stereo mode.
Music source is DVD playing from PC.
And I am still trying to fine tune vocal on my new system.
I recently bought a Behringer DEQ2496 and use this for vocal only.
The more the I play with it the more I find it much more powerful than I thought.
I replace my current dbx 1066 with this one in the chain. I currently only use GEQ, DEQ, DYN, WIDTH to shape my vocal.
I have to move my dbx 1066 into different location in the chain after main mix output since it is being repalced by DEQ2496.
To me I could use another DEQ2496 in place of dbx 1006 after main mix otuput with more options and features to improve the overall mix.
Well, but I already bought one and I could not return it.
