I have been using S & D for several years now. I am thrilled to find this site!!! I offer Karoke as an added service for my hypnosis stage shows and am not an "official" DJ I have found this progrram great except have had no one to ask questions of as it hard to get a hold of creators as they are in England. Soooo - I saw the posts on operating system issues etc - here is my question - I was running S & D on my HP Laptop fairly well. Computer crashed - now have a new Toshiba NB 305 w/ windows 2010 - do you think S & D will run ok on this computer And are we permited to contact each other directly via phone or direct email to disucss S & D I have a gig Sat after Thanksgiving and I need to be operational this week and would love some help . |

First time I have heard about windows 2010. Worked out how you got it though. However, it has been found that the foreman at Microsoft's headquarters is not very loyal and will gladly hand you a copy in exchange for a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Why don't you just install your old version of Sax & Dotty and find out? |

Since you said you got a "new" laptop you would either have Windows Vista or Windows 7 on it. In either case in order to be able to have Sax N Dotty run you will have to go in and turn off UAC (user accounts). But also you will have to contact Sax N Dotty to have your license transferred to your new laptop, if not you will go back to trial mode with a 60 second playtime. |
