Nice! Hey Jian, how do you get rid of the noise at high ISO? It always is a bug for me... although a better camera would help me out lol

I use Noise Ninjaâ„¢ 2.2.0a to clean those noise, It works very well when used with the noise profile of the model of the camera you are shooting with. Most of my shots done without flash were done in the max. ISO and widest aperture If only my lens is a VR version, or my camera body is at least a D7000.

Awesome pics Jian... love the bright colors. Don't know how people lived in black and white all those years ago. (or was it just the film?)

Johnny- I'm gonna send you this bottle of argaiV I got offline, 'k? In case you didn't know, as the name entails, it has the opposite effect of Viagra.

I have always loved photography, did it in highschool for a little while. Now that my grandkids came along, I find myself taking pics nonstop.

One of these days, I'll advance past the "$120 sony digital cam" and get a camera that can take really good photos. I'm sure when I do I'll be on here asking lots of questions about what to get:)

waiting for that day...but
warning: a can be very expensive; a good lens can cost more than most mixer that any KJ here use. but it really depend on what you want to shot. In most case a kit lens can do the job fairly well.
I am still learning.....

Well, I wouldn't do it for anything but personal use Jian. I like photography, and I like photo editing... and I have super cute grandkids that make great subjects.

And I'm corny; I don't know how many times I've pulled off side of the road to get a cool photo of fog, or a sunset, neat moutain scene, etc.

It would just be something for me to hobby with is all. But it would be fun to have a really cool camera someday.

My daughter's BF has a photography business, and he did photos at my son's wedding, and at my house for christmas. Some of the pictures he gets of my grandson are just freaking cute as hell, and much clearer than my cam gets... makes me want to throw my little sony out the window and steal his camera;)

I'll try to upload some to show you. Don't have an online photo account right now(:

Wait!....... I can link my facebook photos here?

I'll do that, if I can figure out how.

Ok. Here you go Jian, hope I did it right. I turned off privacy settings on my FB (oh no..?) So they should be viewable. If not, I swear I'm gonna pitch a doozy.

Thanks for giving me permish to post em in your thread Jian:) These are my daughter and grandson, taken by her BF. I want his camera, much better than mine.

You need not chance the privacy settings of your FB account for you to share the photos or album. just copy the link at the bottom of the photo or album and paste it here.

Those photos are very good; taken by real pro. I am no way near that skill level.

Oh, Lol, I did not KNOW that...... I thought nobody could see them unless you unblocked everything.

But I clicked the link from here while not logged in to my FB, and you can't really access anything else but that album, so it's all good. As far as I know, there are no creeps stalking me at the moment. And they wouldn't find much on my FB page anyhow but pics of grandkids;)

But thanks for letting me know.

Yeah, I gave up on photos at our house for christmas and had Ryan do them, he got some really good shots of all my grandkids. (and some silly ones of me playing with kiddie toys, but we wont be posting those online in forums, haha)

He has a super nice camera too. I shouldn't say that, I have NO idea actually what the heck it is, it's just bigger and shinier than mine.
