I have had a few simple dvd/cdg players and now I want a simple digital setup for home use but I dont know much about the hardware

I have laptop with pcdj software and 50,000 tracks on 1TB external hard drive.

I was going to buy a simple 2 channel mixer like this

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

Mic's going into mixer and connect my laptop from headphone jack to x2 rca into the mixer, then connect the amp to these powered pc speakers

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

I have seen this type of system work so I am almost ready to purchase in time for the holidays, however, I have speakers that I want to use to keep costs down(Linn Uniks ) which take 2 RCA input but no power supply. Would theses speakers work with a mixer amp like this?

http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/page ... ct_id/4334

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AUNA-COMPACT-EQ-S ... 5196d74055

Any advice much appreciated.

Except for this in the fine print: "400W max. output - equivalent to 2 x 20W RMS"

And after looking at it, I don't think that's a typo.

I agree. That's why I told him to buy it.

Thing is though.
The guy was oblivious to any wrong doing.

You have 50,000 songs? How long have you been in the business?
