Hello:
I was wondering if anyone has seen or heard of any open source or COM/scriptable MP3 vocal removers. I am trying to automate a process of removing vocals from MP3s on the fly.
Thanks

goldwave.com has a freeware downloadable product... you open the .mp3, and then go to STEREO/remove vocals.
It only works a little bit of the time, and the music comes out unusual.
It's just not that good a remover is all... I tried over 300 mp3s, and it only worked well on about four songs total.
and even those weren't good.
On the other hand, the goldwave program itself is really good when it comes to converting .mp3s to all types of formats, sizes, density, etc.
