Is there any way to use a 1/4 inch plug into a speakon socket? Thanks, Rick |

If it is not the Neutrik "Combo" socket that accepts both, you will need an adapter like this: http://tinyurl.com/4zvv3ds Or just get a Speakon connector and replace the end of your cable. Easy enough to do. |

I went through a few of those adapters like Bazza recommended. They cut out on me about every 3 months. Then I got a pair of these guys: http://www.google.com/products/catalog? ... Q8wIwADgK# They have lasted me for 2 years and still going. I would highly recommend the single piece adapter over the one with the cord. Less to go wrong! |

I can attest to the fact that the ones that Topher uses are great. I also have several of these that I use on a regular basis. They have never failed at all. I got mine from a local dealer for about the same cost as the online place that Topher suggested. |

I'll throw my hat in with Topher on this one. While either adapter will work, I've had far better success with the all-in-one rather than the pigtail design. The pigtail just adds two additional points of strain that aren't needed (at either end of that short little cable). In the few cases where I've needed a 1/4 to Speakon, I've used the all-in-one style. |
