Since downloading music through MIRC type sites for free are not condoned here, I assume you are asking where to purchase newer music. Best place to go for newer song updates would be Pop Hits Monthly if you want strictly mp3g format, you can purchase each month/genre in mp3g format on a physical data disc where you just move the files to your computer through Explorer. They have the last couple years on sale right now.

The topic of digital downloads is a bit of a touchy subject here, however, i have found a nice selection of legitimate downloads here from SBI and Sunfly:

I would also recommend the Tricerasoft ones. They have SBI, Zoom, Sunfly, and some others. I use them almost exclusively for my new additions. They have some deals where you can get tracks for as little as .99c per track.

If you're looking for free downloads, nobody here is likely to help you. We don't play that game.

You know, maybe we should have a sticky of the legitimate download sites. Seems they're becoming more prevalent now, would be nice if we could help direct people to legitimate places and avoid the pirate sites.

Chartbuster also has mp3+g format on their new SD cards. Also, I know that I am splitting hairs here between CB & PHM, but I prefer CB over PHM.

If you are 7 months behind, check out their 2010 Hits Volume 2 (available in Country and Pop) here:

Musically I do prefer Chartbuster over PHM, however their swipes just suck for the last couple years. Although I still subscribe to CB for the new monthly releases. I do like the fact they now offer their sets on SD cards - would suck to lose or accidently erase it though.

What do you mean "swipes"? I don't know the term.

I know that when I sing CB, the next lines don't always show up fast enough (even for me). I don't know if that is what you are talking about though...
