...and great tasties, a wonderful karaoke evening, and meeting new friends! Spent a few days in Oregon with Swingcat and his lovely Ms. Cat, and enjoyed a wonderful "Karaoke Scene" gathering at the home of Flipper and his wife. Flipper provided the stage for karaoke Friday night and we had a wonderful time. Wildflower and I got to sing together - such great fun. Swingcat made sure we got out to a club to check out the salsa scene and then took us on an amazing sightseeing trip Sunday. Those boys in Oregon sure know how to throw out the hospitality mat. Just saying, glad to know all these people by the best way there is to get to know people...KARAOKE! Thanks all of you! |

Thanks Flipper...I was wondering when the proof was going to surface! Great job, by the way - lovely home, tasty tidbits to nibble on, and your doggies are just the cutest! I was hoping they would sing too! |

I went over to Swingcat's last night for a party he had for people at work and he copied some on a disc for me. Charmin was there as well. I took a few photos but they were poor quality from the Iphone. I'm sure the puppies would sing if they knew how...

Hated to miss Swingcat's par-tayyyyy....weather up this way has been HIDEOUS for driving... I'm sure he'll have another. Glad you had fun. Hey, I can probably find a singing tutor for the pooches. |

That was sure a blast... you guys are all so much fun, and all great singers too. (spouses and friends included) And Scott, that one pup of yours totally wanted to adopt me yanno;) Hope Mrs Flip knows how much we appreciated all she did. (I ate way too much there!) . |

Can't remember which one was sitting on your lap the whole time.....Petey I think as he is the cuddly one. He is the smallest and the most affectionate.

And speaking of the party at my house---it was a two story affair---Karaoke in the basement nightclub and live band jam session upstairs in the living room salon. Had a pro photographer lurking around snapping away-----so of course we have a couple shots of Scott singing, me DJ'ing and CHARMIN..............LIVE ON HER GUITAR PLAYING AND SINGING!! So I guess Ill just have to post them up on my FACEBOOK and put the link here----------should be the FIRST TIME EVER that Charm is shown performing LIVE for KS Scene!!

But Scotts party was MOST OUTSTANDING.......ESPECIALLY all the YUM YUM YUMMY TREATS and SNACKS that MRS. Flipper made for us! The sound system was tops, the mics were hot and the party was ON!! But thats simply the way it is here in PDX............It's JUST THE WAY WE ROLL IN PORTLAND!!! PORTLAND, OREGON..........THE SOURCE OF ALL KARAOKE GOODNESS!! |

It was a bit intimidating having him standing on a chair pointing a camera at me while trying to see around him to see the TV. I don't get rattled easily but that was difficult as he was maybe 5ft from me...
That guy really got into it. Obviously he was not a karaoke person.  Nice guy though.
And yes please get pre approval prior to posting.....please. I have a feeling that they will not be flattering pics if you know what I mean. |
