I picked up a library today off Craigslist. Part of the disks included a set of disks entitled "Karaoke Party" by Madacy Entertainment Group. I have never heard of this manu. Anyone every heard of them? Are their tracks any good?

Though a "Department Store Brand" like Sybersounds Party Tyme, they do a nice job. Also, their vocal tracks are 2 channel- as opposed to right side only- and can be used as some very nice filler music.

I have a fair bit of Madacy stuff. Not too bad and definitely worth the price you pay for it. Very usable.

When I had my mobile system going, I filled a lot of 'new' releases with these & they actually surprised me with the quality. I'd rate a lot of it comparable to PHM. Their version of Bring Me To Life - Evanescense is interesting, it's the original draft version without any of the Wake Me Up (guy) parts.

Thanks a lot.

I picked up a library (not a big one) off Craigslist. Here's what I got for $75:

SC Party Pak 1 (12 disks)
SC Teen Pak 1-3 (18 disks)
SC Country Hits Pak (6 disks)
SC Party Hits Pak (6 disks)
CB 12 Disk ProDisc set
CB 6 Disk ProDisc set
CB 10 Hot Hit Country Hits Collection disks
CB 8 various Pop & Country Monthly releases
24 Karaoke Party various disks
10 various Party Tyme disks
6 various disks

When the guy asked me if I wanted to buy a disco ball for $30, I felt guilty and bought it. Even that was a deal!

118 Discs for $75 :biggrinthumb:

That's less than 64 cents a disc

Where do I get in line? 8)

iF I COULD ONLY GET 64 CENTS PER DISC FOR MY ORIGINAL CD+G DISCS; I'D JUST KEEP THEM IN THE CLOSET WHERE THEY ARE NOW.

I think alot of people have ripped their original discs to a hard drive and are now trying to get back some of their original investment by selling the discs on line. It would clear out a lot of shelf space if I sold them all though. LOL

I guess what happened is he used them for collateral on a loan from his brother. He never paid the loan and he started selling off all of his stuff.
