Hi

I'm in the process of finding out where to purchase individual song downloads of various karaoke manufacturers.

I was wondering if someone knows where to purchase individual Music Maestro songs, or even where the Music Maestro manufacturer website is?

Thanks for your time and help.

Shaun Thomson

Hello:
Music Maestro has been out of business for years. You might be able to find some old discs on eBay.

There are plenty of pirated MM disc on Ebay someone is still running off copies at a fantastic rate, I recently purchased another set of MMEV disc, I tried to rerip mine but a lot of them were just flat worn out from use in players (the former owner was apparently a big Elvis fan) and wouldn't rip properly. So I purchased another set on e-bay, they were just like the origional disc including the fact that they were pressed disc and not burns, so I don't know if they were old stock or new well made pirated disc.

The URL listed below has many karaoke labels for choosing and ordering custom cdg discs (including music maestro). I hope this helps.

There are many karaoke labels that have better karaoke versions of songs than Music Measto, like: DK, Sunfy, Priddis and Zoom. The URL I listed has them all. This is just FYI.

Agreed in most cases, but not doowop and oldies, where the actually excelled above most mfrs.

Hey Spinner, a slight Hijack: Can you post or PM someone who can appraise older collectible vinyl? My guy retired.

I am trying to make a master song listing for all my discs but a few of the spreadsheets on the music discs won't open up. If anyone has song listings for Music Maestro super cdg volumes 1 &2 as well as DK super cdg volume 1 that they could email me I would be forever grateful! Otherwise I will be stuck going through each disc one by one to get the songs.

I agree with Joe, when it comes to oldies and doowop, Music Maestro has the best background/singers (except "One Summer Night"..lol). DK has those annoying melody notes, and Priddis has a lot of songs with no background singers. I'm not a KJ, but an avid follower/singer and donate time to do karaoke parties at senior centers. I digitized my MM stuff. Yes, you can still download and buy used and pirated discs on eBay and other sites. Be careful of the pirated discs. I bought a set of "Dangerous" discs, which you would swear they stole the original tracks, That's how good this producer was (only 11 discs), but the set I got were copies, and some songs either only had a blue screen, or the lyrics overlayed each other. Luckily, a local KJ was selling off his stuff, and I got an original set. Whew.

As already mentioned, MM went out of business at least 10 years ago. You can probably find some MM discs available on eBay, and you might still find some Vendors still carrying a few left in their stock. You could try contacting Seattle Karaoke, Express Karaoke, Doowop Karaoke, Karaoke.com... to name a few. Also, you can find individual MM tracks to download from Tricerasoft.com

Edit: I didn't notice that this was from 16 months ago.

You can find Music Maestro on Tricerasoft, too.

i read somewhere that tricerasoft contacted whomever held the rights to the music maestro songs and got permission to release them for download....

it was a big deal cause people wanted to know how tricerasoft was able to have them for download.... it's legit as i remember they printed the person that held the rights to them and list their contact info....

but for the life of me, i can't remember where i read it.....
