Perhaps it was because of St. Patrick's Day... perhaps because of the first really nice weather we've had since last fall... but whatever the reason, we had Fifty-Two singers at our regular Thursday evening show, and that doesn't count the three young ladies (late arrivals) that were turned down.
That's five more than our previous record set three years ago when we hosted an international dragon-boat race week. Normally, we average between 30 & 35.
The crazy part was... we were missing several of our regular singers.
We picked up an hour and a half overtime... so Life Is Good!

Cool beans Earl! Mine wasn't as good but it was a one timer. I had 24 singers in an early 6-10 show.

Thirty-seven at our Saturday show last night, with only about a dozen (at most) repeats from Thursday.
Yup... Karaoke is alive & well in this area.

@ Ripman... I'm three hours west of Toronto. Little town of Wallaceburg.
@ Lyquiddye... Actually twice... but it cost the club 1.5 hours overtime. Normally, we're booked 8:00 - 11:00 pm. I shut off the monitors at 12:40 am.

52?! Wow.
My record is 44 individual singers in a 5 hour period with an average of 62 songs in that time frame.
