I have been on vacation and hav'nt visited SS in almost two weeks. When I arrived back home, this is what I found in my email inbox....

you are one critical a**bite...get a life

This person did not identify what this is in reference to. The One thing that I know I have never been is critical. Helpful and encouraging would be a better description. I have checked all of my past comments and I do not see anything that would incite anyone to send me this type of offensive and vulgar email. Maybe it was a mistake and intended for someone else but in my opinion knowone deserves this type of message in their inbox regardless of the circumstances.

I don't mind receiving email from anyone at SS all I ask is that you explain your issue inteligently and keep it clean.

Thanks for checking out this post.

SongAddict,
I have never known you to be less than courteous when rating a song.
Why someone would do this to you of all members is totally beyond me.
I honestly hope the admin is able to track this person down and administer the appropriate repremand or punishment. Personally I may be a little critical at times but ya know I look at things alot differently than alot of singers, and most here know it.

Note to the rest of the singers who may not be aware of this:

If the singers can't handle the comments or be rated they maybe should not submit thier songs in the open showcase. Maybe they should submit them to the admin to be played on the radio show or elsewhere.

These are my personal opinions.

This is not a competition, or sandlot baseball.. This is as close to the real world as you are going to get without going into a recording studio and spending a fortune on producers, engineers, and musicians, and other things. SO if you don't want honesty.. well my best and honest advice is don't submit it.. because you just might see it getting verbally shot at or getting a reality check. As some people here are actual professionals in the various areas of the working music industry. And Please don't criticise what you don't honestly know 100% about, you just may be surprized on what the submitters really know, or have in thier recording systems or thier backgrounds. 8)

I'm sure the "Webguru" is always open to suggestions on this issue.

Thank you.
